And What To Do When You’re Being Stalked!
Whether done online or physically. Stalking someone is legally a crime now in Malaysia. A new Section 507A has been introduced under the Penal Code (Act 574) to make stalking an offence. Any individual found guilty faces a maximum jail sentence of up to 3 years, a fine, or both, conviction. You might be thinking you are just visiting a social media page of your long lost friend, a crush or an ex. But it is not considered visiting anymore as it is considered a crime. The same goes to stalking someone in real life as in following someone or been watching them for a while.
But other than taking things legally, this is what you should do when you feel like (or you actually are) being stalked!
Trust your instincts. Be alert and proactive to protect yourself from the possible threat.

Stalking shouldn’t be taken lightly. It can cause serious trauma in someone’s life. These are just some initial steps you can take but do not prolong it too much until it is too late. Do contact the authorities before things get serious. But remember to BE BRAVE at all times and never give someone the chance to take control over your life!
