In tribute to this cultural gem, Nobu Kuala Lumpur is rolling out a lavish homage to Japanese culinary traditions with its Hanami Omakase Menu. It’s like a love letter to springtime flavors, expertly crafted by the talented chefs at Nobu.

Head chef Philip Leong expressed his excitement, saying, “The Hanami Festival is a deeply cherished time in Japan, and we are thrilled to bring the essence of this beautiful season to our guests.” Each dish in this menu is a masterpiece, meticulously curated to capture the very spirit of the season.

Head sushi chef Renante Dominguez shared his inspiration, saying, “The beauty of the cherry blossoms and the spirit of hanami have inspired my team and I to create dishes that not only showcase the delicate flavors of spring but also push the boundaries of traditional Japanese cuisine.”

The menu is a journey through exquisite flavors. It kicks off with Sawara Calamansi Ponzu, a delightful blend of sawara fish with Calamansi Ponzu Sauce and Ginger Tomato Salsa. Then, indulge in a sushi selection featuring Toro Yuzu Kosho Salt, Whitefish Dry Miso, Botan Ebi Wasabi Salsa, and Unagi Kinome Miso.

For the main course, tantalize your taste buds with dishes like Hotaru Ika Taro Puffs, chargrilled Wagyu with silky beetroot sakura sauce, and Inaniwa Ramen with sakura and ebi-infused soup. And finally, wrap up your culinary journey with Sakura Sphere, a sweet celebration of spring flavors.

This extraordinary Hanami Omakase menu is available until May 5th, priced at RM650++ per person. It’s a gastronomic experience not to be missed, offering a taste of Japan’s most cherished season.
