The Plot: An Unplanned Road Trip for a Soup Bowl

The story follows Mo Tsz-shan (played by Chung Suet Ying), a film art assistant constantly rushing between the movie set and the hospital for her cancer-stricken father, Mo Chun-keung (played by Nick Cheung). She initially wants to stay by his hospital bed. However, her father insists on accompanying her on a simple errand to retrieve a large soup bowl from a prop warehouse.

Consequently, the duo sneaks out of the hospital overnight, sparking an unplanned road trip. They travel from the New Territories to Macau, and eventually to Okinawa. Thus, this journey heals old wounds. After her father’s peaceful passing, he leaves his daughter not with grief, but with courage, optimism, and a deep love for life.

Cast Highlights: Ancient Costumes and Surprise Zombies

Beyond the stellar father-daughter duo, the film features a powerhouse ensemble cast including Emily Kwan, Stanley Yau, Keung Ho-man, Philip Yuen, and Thaome.
