UPU Results 2026: STPM/Setaraf University Offers Out On Aug 14 At 12 PM (Full Check + Appeal Guide)
[PUTRAJAYA] Attention, all STPM and equivalent leavers! The Higher Education Ministry (KPT) has announced the release date. Public university (UA) admission offers for the 2026/2027 session will go out on Friday, August 14, 2026. Results open at 12:00 PM sharp.
You can check via UPUOnline, UPUPocket, or MyGov. This guide covers the check channels, the acceptance steps, and the appeal (rayuan) process.
How To Check Your Result: 3 Official Channels
KPT confirmed the check window. It runs from August 14, 12:00 PM, to August 23, 5:00 PM. You may use any of these channels:
Log in at upu.mohe.gov.my or upu2.mohe.gov.my. Then, enter your IC number and PIN to view your offer.
Download the Mobile UPUPocket app. After that, check your result directly on your phone.
You can also use the Mobile MyGov app. It bundles many government services in one place.

Got An Offer? Complete These 2 Steps
Congratulations on your offer! However, do not celebrate just yet. You must finish two steps within the deadline:
- ✅ Confirm Accept / Decline: Between August 15 and 23, go to your university’s website. Then, confirm your choice there.
- ✅ Collect The Official Letter: After confirmation, the university will issue your official offer letter from August 15 onward.
No Offer? Your Appeal (Rayuan) Guide
If you did not receive any offer, do not lose hope. You still have one more chance:
The rayuan window lasts 10 days. It opens on August 14, 12:00 PM, and closes on August 23, 5:00 PM.
Only applicants with no offer at all may appeal. Successful candidates cannot file a rayuan.
Submit your e-Rayuan via the UPUOnline portal (upu.mohe.gov.my). The process is simple and fully online.
Appeal selection depends on vacancies. These only appear after new student registration ends. So, manage your expectations.
Background: How Competitive Is It This Year?
Competition is fierce this year. KPT received 351,012 applications. Meanwhile, PIN purchases hit 379,578. Thus, every slot is highly contested.
However, choices are plentiful too. The session offers 1,146 programs for STPM and equivalent leavers. These span 20 public universities, polytechnics, and community colleges. Moreover, the STPM 2025 cohort performed brilliantly. The national CGPA rose to 2.88, up from 2.85 in 2024. This is a record high. Also, 1,336 candidates scored a perfect CGPA of 4.00.
