South Korean actress Kim Ji-won was greeted by an unexpectedly large crowd upon her arrival in Singapore on May 12. The 31-year-old actress is in town to attend a private event hosted by Italian luxury fashion house Bulgari on May 14, celebrating its newest fragrance, Bulgari Allegra Chill & Sole. The length of her stay remains undisclosed.

Though details of her visit were not officially announced, nearly 200 fans managed to learn about her arrival and gathered at Changi Airport to welcome her. According to Shin Min Daily News, Kim Ji-won, star of the hit K-drama “Queen of Tears” (2024), landed at Terminal 4 around 8:30 PM. Fans enthusiastically called her name as she smiled, waved, and graciously accepted their letters and gifts.
“Queen of Tears,” also starring South Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun, recently concluded with its final episode airing on April 28. The romance series achieved an impressive average viewership rating of 24.9% nationwide in South Korea, marking the highest viewership ratings for an episode on South Korean cable channel tvN to date.
