Stanley Yau Shares Excitement After Meeting Rihanna at Shanghai Event

Hong Kong’s entertainment scene lit up with excitement as popular Cantopop stars Stanley Yau shared his thrilling experience of meeting Rihanna in Shanghai.

Stanley Yau, a member of the Cantopop boy band Mirror, was ecstatic after encountering the Barbadian singer and entrepreneur at a promotional event for her renowned make-up brand, Fenty Beauty.

Fresh from completing the Macau leg of the Mirror Feel The Passion Concert Tour 2024 on May 19, the 33-year-old flew to Shanghai to attend the event. On May 21, Yau posted several photos with Rihanna on social media, expressing his overwhelming joy with the caption, “Not a single word can describe how I felt last night.”

Yau’s bandmates were equally excited. Edan Lui commented, “Insane,” while Jeremy Lee echoed, “Insane x 2.” Adding to the excitement, Yau’s girlfriend, Hong Kong actress Alina Lee, humorously shared his post on her Instagram Stories, writing, “While he’s taking a selfie with my queen, I was taking a selfie with the sun, so jealous.”

The event attracted several other notable celebrities, including Hong Kong singer-actress Heidi Lee, Hong Kong-French influencer Megan Jacques, and United States-based blogger Karen Yeung. The presence of such high-profile figures highlighted the event’s significance and the widespread appeal of Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty brand.

Stanley Yau’s unforgettable experience at the Fenty Beauty event underscores the global influence of Rihanna and her brand, bringing together stars and fans from around the world for a memorable night.
