Afgan and Lyodra Live in KL on Sept 28

Indonesian music stars Afgan and Lyodra are set to light up Kuala Lumpur with a special concert on September 28 at Mega Star Arena. The two-hour event promises an unforgettable experience for fans, with the duo set to perform 20 songs throughout the evening.

For Lyodra, this concert marks a significant milestone as it will be her first-ever performance in Malaysia. Despite this, the 21-year-old rising star, whose full name is Lyodra Margareta Ginting, is approaching the opportunity with excitement rather than nerves. “This concert feels like a sign that my career is growing,” she shared during a recent press conference in Kuala Lumpur, where she appeared alongside Afgan.

Lyodra also expressed her admiration for several Malaysian artists, including Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, Ernie Zakri, and Aisha Retno, noting that she hopes to collaborate with them in the future.

When asked about working with Afgan, Lyodra couldn’t hide her enthusiasm. The two artists collaborated on the duet “Ada,” released last October. “Afgan has been a long-time idol of mine. I never imagined I’d have the chance to record a duet with him, let alone share the stage for a concert,” she said with a smile.

Afgan, whose real name is Afgansyah Reza, had high praise for his young counterpart. He believes Lyodra is destined for greatness in Indonesia’s music scene, predicting she will become a diva. “Her voice is one of the best of her generation,” he said. “When I heard her song ‘Sang Dewi,’ I knew I had to work with her.”

Tickets for the “Ada Afgan & Lyodra Live in Kuala Lumpur” concert start at RM458 and can be purchased at Ticket2u.
