In a joint Instagram post shared on Wednesday (Oct 16), the pair explained that the decision was made in their best interests. They emphasized that they are personally addressing the situation due to the amount of speculation circulating on social media.

“Over the years, we’ve grown from nothing to something, and we’re grateful for the love everyone has shown us,” they wrote. “We don’t know what the future holds, but we’ll keep working on creating more good things. Everything is for the best, and things will improve.”

Tan also posted on her Instagram Story, asking people not to speculate and to give them space to move on. “We are all doing great, each flying in our own direction,” she said.

Rumors about their breakup started on October 13, when fans noticed the two were seated apart at local singer Caven’s wedding. The speculation intensified the next day when Firdhaus, 25, hinted at the breakup on social media.

The couple had gone public with their relationship in 2023 after dating for three years. They first collaborated on the song Another Heaven, originally by American singer Wang Leehom, and later on their hit track Divorce In Ghana.
