Malaysian artist Bella Astillah has firmly denied rumors of reconciling with her estranged husband, Singaporean actor Aliff Aziz. Speculation about their reconciliation emerged after their divorce hearing, initially scheduled for June 4, was postponed to June 13.

In an interview with Berita Harian, Bella’s representative, Azmi Mohd Rais, clarified that the hearing was delayed because the judge was unavailable. Bella, whose full name is Dayang Nabella Awang Astillah, also addressed the rumors on her Instagram Story, stating she has no intention of getting back together with Aliff. “I have long moved on and am trying to live peacefully,” the 30-year-old said.
Bella has been avoiding media interviews to prevent further speculation. She urged people to stop making assumptions, listening to gossip, and believing clickbait headlines. “If I give an answer, I’m wrong. If I don’t, I’m arrogant. If my representative answers, this is what happens. All the facts are distorted,” she lamented.
Her younger sister, Didi Astillah, also voiced her frustration over the baseless rumors on social media. In a TikTok live stream, the 27-year-old stated, “How can they reconcile when they don’t even keep in contact with each other? The divorce is inevitable.”
Bella and Aliff, who share two children, were married in 2016. Their relationship became a hot topic in March when religious authorities detained Aliff under suspicion of committing khalwat with local actress Ruhainies. Bella filed for divorce shortly after, but Aliff refused during the initial hearing on April 4.
Aliff recently stated that he will cooperate fully at the next hearing. The actor admitted in a podcast that he cheated on Bella because his “soul felt empty.” This isn’t the first time the couple has faced marital issues; they first divorced in 2019 following cheating allegations against Aliff but reconciled in 2020.
