Britney Spears’ father, Jamie, may have had a point about keeping his daughter under conservatorship to protect her finances for over a decade.

After the court released Spears from the conservatorship, she’s reportedly been spending her money recklessly on luxurious private jets and extravagant tropical getaways.

“Those close to Jamie believe he’ll be proven right in the end,” a source revealed.

“Unless she reins in her spending, she’ll either need to go on tour or secure another residency in Las Vegas,” the source added.

Recently divorced from her third husband, Sam Asghari, the pop icon was spotted at the upscale Chateau Marmont, known for its pricey accommodations starting at over US$600 per night. However, her stay was cut short amid reports of an altercation with her new boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz, prompting a late-night departure.

Although paramedics were called, Spears left with her own security team, citing a twisted ankle. She later downplayed the incident on social media, suggesting it was blown out of proportion.
