According to what is shown in the trailer, Shadow of the Erdtree will feature lots of new content such as new areas, enemies, weapons and, most importantly, new bosses for players to defeat. Besides new gameplay, a collector’s edition for the game was also announced, which includes an artbook, a voucher code, the official soundtrack and a statue of Messmer the Impaler, one of the new bosses found in the DLC.

According to the Steam page for Shadow of the Erdtree, the new content will cost RM179, or RM199 for the premium bundle that includes a digital artbook and soundtrack. Pre-ordering it will also get you a bonus Shadow of the Erdtree gesture that you can use in-game.

Elden Ring is an action role-playing video game released on the 25th of February, 2022, developed by From Software, creators of the Dark Souls series. It received critical acclaim for its challenging bosses, enormous open world as well as its interesting worldbuilding and lore, provided by Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin.

At the end of the year, it went on to win many awards and accolades, most notably Game of the Year at the Game Awards 2022. Soon after, From Software announced that it would be developing additional content for the hit video game, which delighted fans who wished to return to The Lands Between.
