Fans Say HK Star Moses Chan Is Unrecognizable in Anniversary Photo with Wife Aimee

This time around, Moses and Aimee decided to commemorate their anniversary with a unique K-style portrait session. Aimee, 43, shared two beautiful photos from the session on her social media, captioning them, “I’ll always love you. Happy Anniversary, my dearest.”

The photos feature the couple in matching white and khaki outfits, with one shot showing them gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes and the other looking directly at the camera. The transformation of Moses, 53, after receiving the “K-treatment” – with fairer skin, an “Oppa” hairstyle, lighter eyebrows, and a clean-shaven look – sparked quite a reaction from netizens.

Many fans commented on Aimee’s Instagram about Moses’ new look. Comments like “Moses looks weird,” “I really can’t recognize him,” and “Strange look” were common. Some fans felt the editing was a bit overdone, with one saying, “Honestly speaking, the editing is overdone.” Another added, “Happy anniversary! But the Korean style photography is a bit weird.”

Despite the mixed reactions, some fans appreciated the transformation, acknowledging that Moses and Aimee achieved the K-drama look they were aiming for. “You both look so Korean suddenly,” one fan summed it up.

Earlier this year, Moses reached a career milestone by winning the Best Actor award at the 2023 TVB Anniversary Awards, his first win in 16 years since he last won in 2007. Moses, one of the most beloved actors in TVB, has been with the Hong Kong broadcaster for 23 years.

Moses and Aimee, a former Miss Hong Kong and fellow TVB colleague, married in 2013. The couple shares two sons and one daughter, and continue to be a beloved pair in the entertainment industry.
