HK Actress Chrissie Chau Enjoys KL During Malaysia Filming

Hong Kong actress Chrissie Chau is currently in Malaysia filming her upcoming drama, Fearless, which is set to release in 2025. Filming began in July, with most scenes taking place around Klang Valley.

When she’s not on set, the 39-year-old actress has been making the most of her free time by exploring Malaysia and indulging in local delicacies like kaya toast and seafood noodles. On Monday (Sept 3), Chau shared a series of photos capturing her day out in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.

Dressed elegantly in all black, she posed in front of Sungei Wang Plaza and tried on a pink sun hat at a local gift shop. She also shared a moment from her downtime on Instagram Story, playing badminton with her co-stars Sam Lee, Himmy Wong, and Julius Brian Siswojo.

Fans have been quick to welcome her, leaving comments on her posts, with one fan admiring her beauty and excitement for the new show: “Chrissie jie jie, you’re so beautiful. I’m looking forward to your new show.” Others recommended local dishes, such as fried kuey teow, while many wished her a wonderful stay in Malaysia.

Malaysia has long been a popular destination for both filming and vacations among Hong Kong stars. During a press conference last week, TVB general manager Eric Tsang, who is also in Malaysia for filming, referred to the country as a “best friend” to many Hong Kong celebrities. Recent visitors include Bosco Wong, Nicholas Tse, Anita Yuen, Jackson Wang, and Herman Yau.
