Joe’s former co-stars, Taiwanese actors Joseph Cheng and Ming Dao, stood by as best men, while her bridesmaids included members of her former girl group, 7 Flowers. During her wedding speech, Joe took a moment to reflect on her relationship with Alan, expressing deep gratitude for their journey together.
“We find joy in the little things,” she shared, reminiscing about their shared love for exploring new places, cycling through the streets of Taipei, enjoying delicious meals, and watching movies together. “We’re inseparable, and I believe that when two people are happier together than they are alone, that’s what true marriage is.”
Joe fondly recalled their first meeting on the dating show Meeting Mr. Right 2 in 2019, calling Alan “a gift from fate” that came at just the right moment. She praised him for his warmth and reliability, which have softened her often sensitive and straightforward nature.
“Thank you for making me feel that the world, and I, are good,” she said, expressing her deep love and appreciation for Alan.
In response, Alan vowed to always be her rock, saying, “No matter what life brings, I’ll be your mountain, your strongest support.”
Langkawi holds a special place in the couple’s hearts, as it was where they first confessed their love for each other. They officially tied the knot in Taipei in 2022 but were unable to celebrate their wedding at the time due to the pandemic.
