Maybank2u App to Be Discontinued: Switch to MAE Now

Maybank customers, take note! Your beloved Maybank2u app is bidding farewell. The bank has officially announced that the app will be completely shut down on August 28, 2024.

As part of its digital transformation journey, Maybank introduced the MAE app earlier this year and has since removed Maybank2u from app stores. While existing users can still use the Maybank2u app until its final day, the bank strongly encourages everyone to transition to MAE.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Download the MAE app: Get it from your app store.
  2. Register for Secure2u: This is a security feature essential for accessing your accounts.
  3. Activate Secure2u: Visit any Maybank ATM to complete the activation process. Remember, the first-time activation takes at least 12 hours to prevent unauthorized access.

MAE offers a wider range of features beyond traditional banking, making it a convenient one-stop financial solution.

Don’t wait until the last minute! Switch to MAE now to ensure uninterrupted access to your Maybank accounts.
