Olivia Munn Reveals Mastectomy Scars in Skims Campaign

Olivia Munn, recently open about her battle with breast cancer and double mastectomy, is going topless in a new campaign for Skims, coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The 44-year-old actress, known for her roles in The Newsroom and The Daily Show, posed in Skims bras for the campaign launched on October 23 by Kim Kardashian’s popular shapewear brand.

In a striking series of photos, Munn wears the brand’s nipple bra and, in another image shared on Skims’ Instagram story, models the Body Legging, with a side view subtly revealing her mastectomy scars. Reflecting on her scars, she said, “When I look at the scars or how my breasts look different, I just feel a lot of gratitude. The way my body looks is a representation of how hard I fought.”

The choice to reveal her scars happened organically during the shoot. Munn recalled in a Today interview how, as her makeup artist worked to cover her scars, she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror and felt a wave of acceptance. “I just thought, ‘I’m done being insecure about my scars,’” she said.

As part of the campaign, Skims will donate 10% of each bra sale from October 23 to October 31 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, supporting breast cancer awareness and research.

Munn, who revealed her breast cancer diagnosis in March, shared that she also underwent a hysterectomy and froze eggs before starting treatment. “It was a big decision to make,” she shared in a recent Vogue interview. Her openness is a powerful reminder of resilience and self-acceptance.
