A week after the premiere of the fourth season of Only Murders In The Building, Selena Gomez has officially become a billionaire, making her one of the youngest women in the U.S. to achieve this milestone.

At 32, Gomez reportedly earns around $6 million per season for her role in the hit show, but her makeup brand, Rare Beauty, is responsible for the bulk of her estimated $1.3 billion net worth, according to Bloomberg. Her success doesn’t stop there—endorsement deals with major brands like Louis Vuitton, Coach, and Puma have brought in about $50 million.
Beyond her entertainment career, Gomez is passionate about mental health advocacy. In 2021, she co-founded Wondermind, a platform aimed at promoting mental wellness, alongside her mother. Bloomberg values the company at approximately $100 million.
“What she’s doing is pretty smart,” said University of Chicago professor Carolyn Sloane in an interview with Bloomberg. “She’s shifted towards projects that feel more authentic to her, which has led to better investment decisions.”
Gomez’s influence extends to social media as well. Last year, she was named TikTok’s most popular artist in the U.S., surpassing big names like Cardi B, Ice Spice, and Ariana Grande.
The former Disney star, who rose to fame on The Wizards of Waverly Place, is also returning to her roots as the executive producer of a spinoff series, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, set to premiere in October. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
