The Case: Unreachable Phones, a Boy Missing from School

The complainant is Siti Zulaikha’s father. The elderly man says his last contact with the family of three was on 20 July — after which every attempt to reach them failed. Repeated calls to his daughter’s and son-in-law’s mobile phones went unanswered.

More worrying still: when he contacted his grandson’s teacher, he learned the boy had not been attending school. “I came to make a police report because I am worried about their safety,” he said in the report, adding that his daughter suffers from asthma. The family’s missing-person posts on social media quickly went viral.

CCTV: Home at 1.12am, Gone Again by 2.20am

Kubang Pasu police chief Superintendent Mohd Radzi Abdul Rahim confirmed the report and revealed a crucial detail: CCTV footage at the residence shows the family of three returning home by car at 1.12am on Monday (3 Aug), before leaving again in the same vehicle at 2.20am.

We are conducting a missing-person investigation. We appeal to members of the public who have information on this family of three to come forward and assist the police. In other words, on the very morning the father lodged his report, the family had briefly returned home — yet made no contact. That fleeting pre-dawn return is now the strongest starting point in the search.

  • The complainant (the woman’s father) last communicates with the family of three.
  • Phones unreachable; the teacher confirms the 9-year-old has not been attending school; the family’s social media appeal goes viral.
  • CCTV shows the family returning home by car at their Bukit Kayu Hitam residence.
  • The three leave again in the same vehicle.
  • The father lodges a report at Bukit Kayu Hitam police station.
  • Police confirm the case and appeal to the public for information.

Seen Them? How to Give Information

If you have seen the three, recognise their vehicle, or hold any related information, call 04-917 2222 immediately (IPD Kubang Pasu), or walk into any nearby police station. Even if your clue feels insignificant, let the police make the call.

⚠️ Share responsibly: Only circulate missing-person information and photos from the family or official sources. Do not speculate in the comments or spread unverified “sightings” — misinformation hinders investigations and harms the family. Finding people relies on accurate information, not rumours.
