Sora Ma Welcomes Baby Boy

Malaysian actress Sora Ma is experiencing a level of joy she never imagined possible. The 40-year-old recently welcomed her first child, a baby boy, sharing the news with her followers on social media on August 14.

“Our little boy arrived last week, filling our hearts with a love we’ve never known,” Sora wrote in her heartfelt post. “Becoming a new mum has completely changed my life. Breastfeeding has its challenges, but I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.”

She shared a tender photo of her newborn’s tiny hand grasping an adult finger, expressing how deeply they are already smitten by their little one. “We’re already wrapped around his tiny fingers,” she added. “We can’t wait to begin this new chapter as a family.”

Sora revealed that her son, named Skye, was born weighing 3.9kg. She also mentioned that her husband is not in the entertainment industry and that Skye was initially expected to arrive on August 15.

However, during her last prenatal check-up, doctors discovered that the baby was in a breech position, which led to a planned caesarean section. Sora shared that the baby was full-term and developing well, so the procedure was arranged.

Sora first announced her pregnancy on social media in February and later disclosed that the baby was conceived through in-vitro fertilisation. By May, she revealed that they were expecting a boy. – The Straits Times/Asia News Network
