The 45-year-old actress shared glimpses of her trip on Xiaohongshu, a Chinese social media platform, on October 7. Among the highlights were pictures of her dining experience at Saint Pierre, a two-Michelin-star contemporary French restaurant at One Fullerton, which boasts stunning views of Marina Bay Sands. Joe, who had been craving a Michelin-starred meal after watching Culinary Class Wars on Netflix, finally indulged herself. Though she found the scallops a bit too sour, she thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience, describing fine dining as a true art form where every bite tells a story.
Her fans were thrilled to catch snippets of her Singapore adventure, including a meal at the popular local chain Song Fa Bak Kut Teh and a classic Singaporean ice cream sandwich from an Orchard Road cart. Joe revealed in an Instagram Q&A that her ice cream was corn-flavored, a fun twist on the treat.
While shopping with her husband on Orchard Road, several fans spotted Joe, and though one asked for a photo, she politely declined, staying gracious as always. Joe Chen remains a beloved figure, known for her roles in iconic Taiwanese dramas like The Prince Who Turns Into A Frog and Fated To Love You. The actress met Alan on the reality show Meeting Mr. Right in 2019, and their love story continues to inspire fans around the world.
