Chinese rocker Wang Feng and his new girlfriend, Chinese influencer Li Qiao, have addressed various allegations since their relationship became public. Wang, 52, and actress Zhang Ziyi, 45, announced their divorce in October 2023 after eight years of marriage. They share an eight-year-old daughter and a four-year-old son. Wang also has two daughters from previous relationships.

On May 20, Wang confirmed his relationship with Li, 34, in a post on Chinese social media platform Weibo after the couple was seen celebrating Mother’s Day with his children. This sighting led to rumors that Wang and Li knew each other before his divorce from Zhang was finalized.
In his post, Wang clarified the timeline of their relationship. “Two months after my divorce in October last year, I met Ms. Li Qiao in Xinjiang due to work. We began dating about four months after we met,” he wrote. He denied claims that they were in the same city in July 2023, stating he did not know her before his divorce was finalized in August.
Li, known online as Senlin Bei, also addressed the rumors in a Weibo video on May 21. She explained, “I met Wang Feng in October last year while we were discussing a collaboration with a conservatory of music on cultural tourism projects. We began dating early this year.” Li revealed she was previously married, is now divorced, and is a single mother.
Li also responded to online accusations of plastic surgery after old photos of her surfaced on social media. “I had only orthodontic treatment in 2019,” she said. “I have lost my baby fat over more than 10 years, with experience written on my face.”
The couple’s openness aims to clear the air and set the record straight amidst public scrutiny.
