Wu Chun Reveals 20 Years of Insomnia: “I Sleep Under 6 Hours”

Wu Chun, widely known as a former member of the iconic Taiwanese boy band Fahrenheit, recently delighted fans at the 2024 CTA Tour in Macao by hosting an autograph session. The event was a walk down memory lane for the 45-year-old, who reminisced about the whirlwind popularity of his Fahrenheit days when fans would wait hours in line for a chance to meet their idols.

“It’s been so long since I’ve done a signing event,” Wu Chun shared with a smile. “I’m really happy to see my fans up close again.” Reflecting on his past, he added, “I still remember those times when we would sign for seven or eight hours straight, often going until one or two in the morning. Earlier today, I had such a rush of memories—it gave me goosebumps. Those are truly unforgettable moments.”

While the event brought joy and nostalgia, Wu Chun also touched on a personal challenge he has been dealing with for over 20 years—chronic sleep issues. “I’ve always had trouble sleeping,” he admitted. “It’s been more than two decades, and I’m used to it by now. I rarely sleep more than six hours a night.” Despite the lack of rest, he finds a silver lining: “In a way, it allows me to accomplish more.”

As for addressing his sleep troubles, Wu Chun revealed that he’s seeking medical guidance. “The doctor advises me to stop overthinking and has prescribed a routine to help improve my sleep. It’s part of an ongoing treatment plan.”

Now based in Shanghai, Wu Chun continues to juggle his career and family life while cherishing moments with fans who have stood by him through the years.
